Year 5 and 6 had a fantastic day of fun, learning and friendship at Portstewart Strand. The weather was perfect for enjoying many beach activities including... running along the waves; a scavenger hunt; creating sand sculptures; climbing up sand dunes and running down them again; digging in the sand; and climbing over rocks. Many of the boys and girls also enjoyed races and football games on the beach. Many thanks to Lisa and her helpers from The National Trust for organising all of our wonderful activities. Many thanks also to our parent and school helpers for making our trip to the beach one of the best school trips ever!!!
