Digital Leaders from Year 6 and Year 7 alongside some of their classmates, were invited to NRC Magherafelt to participate in a coding workshop.
Children used a programme on the computer to design their own game. Children had to create a character, an enemy, coins and a wall. Children programmed each of these: they made their character move to collect coins, if you bumped into a wall the character died and you had to avoid running into the enemy.
Children thoroughly enjoyed their #hourofcode and a huge well done to our Digital Leader who won an Amazon Voucher for his great coding! A huge thanks to NRC Magherafelt :)
