Local pharmacist Maurice Diamond visited Year 2 recently as part of their class topic, People who help us. He told them what his job involves and they made a special medicine for Year 2. He warned them about the dangers of the sun and the importance of wearing sun cream and sun hats. They talked about our daily sugar allowance and discussed the amount of sugar in certain foods and drinks. We learnt a lot about how to keep us safe and healthy. Thanks Maurice!
