Year 2 read the story Rosie’s Hat and investigated why things move. We talked about why Rosie’s hat moved and suggested some ways we could make a plastic ball move without touching it. Year 2 made wind streamers and we took them outside to investigate the direction of the wind. We also took a plastic ball, a basketball and a football outside to predict the direction the balls would roll in and which would roll the furthest. Year 2 enjoyed science through stories!!
