Congratulations to the two teams who represented New Row at St. Mary’s Grammar School today. The two teams debated against a strong Derrychrin team on topical issues; should the voting age be lowered to 11, should video games be banned for children under 18 and should people be changed for not recycling their rubbish. All the children used excellent research skills to find relevant statistics to back up their arguments, and articulated themselves so well. Congratulations to a strong Derrychin team on narrowly beating New Row in the final! Thank you to St. Mary’s for the invite and excellent hospitality.
