Year 7 recently completed a shared writing fiction activity.
The children worked in small groups to continue an introduction for various genre's with the opening line "John and Freya opened the door...".
The 8 groups had to continue the story introduction from the theme found in their secret envelope.
The 4 genre's were horror, fairytale, fantasy and school story.
The groups then rotated and read each other's stories making notes, and then presented their work for the class.
