Year 7 carried out an investigation to estimate and measure the perimeter of various parts our playground. In groups, Year 7 estimated using both standard and non-standard units of measurements and then used metre sticks and trundle wheels to measure more accurately. We measured the perimeter of the football pitch, the mobiles, the chapel and even Mrs Graffin’s car!
